The Arassas or Catlizard is a cat/lizard-like creature that hails from the folklore of Lagrand in the Hautes-Alpes region of France. It is an odd-looking greyish-colored animal with the head of a cat and the body of a lizard. It lives in ruined houses and old crumbling walls and its gaze kills immediately. These catlizards have venomous bite forcedly enough to shred off the skin. Arassases can be shy, silly or curious if they see a human except human children.
In 1988, the arassas was depicted in modern as a strange hybrid animal with a head of domestic cats (from cats breed) and the body of a lizard, gecko, or monitor lizard (even more lizard species).
