In Zoroastrian mythology Asavan was said to be a three-legged, nine-mouthed and six-eyed white mule with a golden alicorn (A single horn) atop it's head; it would stride purposefully around the sea, Vourukasa. Assavan feeds upon menong (Spiritual food) and when it drinks, it destroys all harmful creatures in the water; in fact, evil fails and eventually dies in it's righteous presence. Ambergris is it's dung, a substance highly valued by perfumers.
