The Axex is a Griffin-like creature of Ancient Egypt that has the head and wings of a hawk, the body of some sort of Feline, 3 feathered crest on its head (possibly similar to the ornate hawk-eagle or perhaps the crest found on roosters), a black streak going down the side of its neck and a tail with a curled tip.
