Azeban

Azeban is a raccoon spirit. Most closely matching humanoid raccoons and Japanese tanuki (raccoon dog yokai) in their appearance, these North American and Canadian faeries are famous for their trickster-like antics in local folklore. They have been known to shapeshift into other animals to confuse potential hunters or the owners of said other animals, but they are not known to be malicious. Instead, they prefer to play harmless and foolish pranks.
