The Godaphro was described as a deer with a rabbit's head, two long fangs, was covered in both fur and scales, and had longer rear legs than forelimbs. It also had a long tail which it used to hang from branches (like an opossum) or to swing from them like Tarzan. No horns were present. They were harmless, and while mostly herbivorous, they also ate rocks, like the Gyascutus.
