Another yokai without a proper name, a peafowl-like bird is called “奇鳥” “Strange Bird” or “伊勢の奇鳥”.
Ise’s Strange Bird or Strange Bird of Ise is a pure white bird with diamond tail feathers that looks like a peafowl or peacock pheasant. However, this bird is much closer to the peafowl pheasant.
