Kigutilik - Encountered by Iglulik Inuit shaman Anarqâq while he was sealing out in the wilds of his people's namesake region in Northern Canada, this monstrous spirit was said to have emerged from a hole and taken the shaman by surprise, roaring loudly and causing him to flee before he could communicate with it. The creature was described as an enormous beast, taller than a bear, with long knobbly legs and a single massive ear. It had teeth like walrus tusks and fringes of hair along its body.
