According to the Naturalist’s Note Book (1868), one “R.B.W” wrote about a nondescript animal called the Pauca Billee, which was only described as a “flying cat”. The only evidence of the animal was dried skin show cased at India’s Bombay Asiatic Society. Alexander Gibson believed the animal to be a cat and not a flying fox.
