By Cycylone62 or Mythologysleuth

A Pterippus or Pterippi (plural), also known as the Winged Horse or Flying Horse is a species of bird-winged horses. Technically, this is the correct name for winged horses as a species in the ancient Greek language, however, the name Pegasus or Pegasi has been generally accepted in modern times to describe the species as well.
