Vepreslon or Wepreslon and Вепреслон in Russian
The animal, which, according to the compilers of the Slavic bestiaries, lives in India, and its appearance resembles a lion and a wild boar. Sometimes it looks like a wolf, with soft paws, a fluffy tail and a protruding tongue. Sometimes it has a cat's head, round ears, a wolf's tail, three-toed paws with pointed toes, and protruding fangs. They also paint him like a lion, with a mane and a fluffy tail. At times, a trunk-nose is "attached" to it. it also sometimes has the feet of an Elephant.
