Originally circular bronze bells that are used in traditional Japanese temples and shrines, these tsukumogami take on crocodile-like bodies and develop powerful fangs once they reach a certain age. The bells act as the creatures' heads, opening and closing just like the jaws of real crocodiles. They are usually protective of their churches and shrines, but will attack any intruders viciously.
